Indigo Airline

The Headquarter of indigo is situated in Gurugram, Haryana, India. The main base of indigo is situated in Delhi. 

Rahul Bhatia is the founder of Indigo. He established Indigo as a private company in 2006. The first aircraft of indigo was delivered on 28 July 2006. In 2007, the Indigo airline had 15 aircraft.

After five years in 2011, indigo had got permission for international flights. On 1 September 2011, the first international flight of indigo was started from Delhi to Dubai.

In 2012, the Indigo airline had 50 aircraft. In December 2019, indigo started to operate 1500 flights per day. 


GoAir Airline

The Headquarter of GoAir is located at Mumbai, Maharashtra. Wadia Group is the owner of GoAir. In 2005, the son of Indian industrialist Nusli Wadia’s son Jeh Wadia founded the GoAir.

On 4 November 2005, the first flight of GoAir was started from Mumbai to Ahmadabad. On 11 October 2018, the first international flight of GoAir was started from New Delhi to Phuket.

Now GoAir operates 330 flights per day. GoAir flies over 39 total destinations, including 27 domestic destinations and 7 international destinations.

Air India Express

The Headquarter of Air India Express is situated at Kochi, Kerala, India. 

Air India Ltd is the parent company of Air India express. 

Rajeev Bansal as chairperson and K Shyamsunder as CEO serve the air India Express.

29 April 2005 Air India Express launched the first three domestic flights. It operates 649 flights in a week having 33 destinations.

SpiceJet Airline

The Headquarter of SpiceJet is located at Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

In March 1984, an Indian industrialist S.K. Modi started a company for air taxi service.

In February 1993, this company changed the name to MG Express.

In 2004, Ajay Singh acquired this company and named it SpiceJet.

SpiceJet operates 630 flights in a day having 64 destinations that include 54 domestic and 15 international destinations.

Air India Airline

The Headquarter of Air India Airline is located in New Delhi. Jahangeer Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata is the founder of Air India Airlines. In 1932, he founded this company and named it Tata Air Service and later changed the name as Tata Airlines. Air India Airline operates the flights to 102 destinations including 57 domestic and 45 international destinations.

Vistara Airline

Due to a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, a new airline was founded in 2013 named Vistara.

The Headquarter of Vistara is situated at Gurgaon, Haryana. In August 2015, Vistara started an institute for aviation training security. Vistara operates 1200 flights per week, having 24 destinations.

AirAsia India Airline

The main headquarter of Air Asia stated in Bangalore and currently, it has been processing 24 destinations. This airline has been started on 12 June 2014 from headquarter and nowadays it became India’s fourth-largest costing lower airline of India and quite popular among people.   

Alliance Air Airline

Alliance Airline has been a regional one and developed in 1996 in India. It basically operates the primary government places under the UDAN scheme.

Currently, this airline has been operating more than 55 destinations of India and the primary hubs of Alliance are Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Jaipur, and Kolkata, and Hyderabad.   

Star Air Airline

Star Airline has been operating since 2017 and the main center of this airline is developed in Kempegowda, Bangalore.

Nowadays, this airline has been offering 6 domestic stations all over India including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.  

TruJet Airline

This airline is also one of the best low-cost carrier airways of India and developed in 2013 and mainly started its flights from July 2015. Currently, TruJet has been operating 27 domestic destinations in India from its hub stated in Hyderabad.
