- Ants are social insects that live together in colonies. Their nest communities can be located in underground , in ground-level mounds, or in trees. Ant size ranges from 2 to 25 mm.

- Ants have tiny holes all over their body called spiracles which they use it for breathing, they take oxygen and give back carbon dioxide through the same hole. Ants do not have lungs like we do.
